You're brilliant at spotting potential, including in people who currently have the reliability of airport Wi-Fi. Today, stop investing precious time in somebody simply because they MIGHT eventually become amazing. Look at what they're actually delivering. Experience, consistency and proof matter. You don't need to dump the promising newcomer, but don't hand them the keys to the kingdom either.
Relationships could become unpredictable as someone may want more freedom, more honesty, more commitment or an explanation for what is going on. Don't dodge difficult conversations by making jokes or disappearing into your own world. Whether single or attached, you're learning what real compatibility looks like when nobody's pretending. Can you be yourself around this person? If honesty scares the relationship, dishonesty or inauthenticity surely won't save it.
